Cubs Sign Scott Hairston To Two-Year Deal
(CBS)-- The Chicago Cubs have signed outfielder Scott Hairston to a two-year deal according to a team release. Terms were not disclosed.
Hairston, 32, batted .263 with 20 home runs and 57 RBI's in 134 games with the New York Mets last season.
Hairston broke into the majors with Arizona in 2004 at the age of 23 and enjoyed his first full big league season in 2007.
